Quick Start
1) Tap STEP on the bottom bar.
2) Tap one or more center dials to start voices.
3) Open CONTROLS to set BPM, scale, and FX.
4) Use STOP at any time to silence all voices.
Global Controls
CONTROLS opens tempo, scale, and global effects. Use RVB SIZE/RVB AMT for reverb, DLY TIME/FDBK/AMT for delay, and SAT AMT/OD AMT for drive.
Use bottom navigation to switch between screens: STEP, GRID, DOTS, DRAW, RING, MORPH, C/R, and MIX.
Sequencer Modes
STEP: Start/stop pattern voices and shape tone/rhythm per voice.
GRID: Tap cells for notes by position; adjust swing, length, and probability.
DOTS: Build 32-step melodic phrases and vary density with probability.
DRAW: Draw melodic contours for expressive phrase playback.
RING: Layer Euclidean rings for evolving polymetric rhythm patterns.
Performance + Morph
Capture scenes in corners A/B/C/D, then blend live using the morph pad. Use this for macro transitions during performance.
In MIX, balance groups and reduce crowded output by trimming channel levels.
Call / Response
Capture a source phrase from GRID, DOT, DRAW, or RING, generate a response, refine with variation controls, and accept into the destination sequencer.
MIDI Setup (BLE + Virtual)
Enable MIDI OUT to send notes. Enable BLE for wireless pairing to Mac/DAW devices, then tap PAIR.
For same-device hosts on iOS, enable VIRTUAL and select Limn MIDI Out in your host app.
Use output channel controls if your external track listens on a specific MIDI channel.
Sync In / Sync Out
SYNC IN follows incoming MIDI clock. With FOLLOW enabled, start/stop transport follows external transport.
SYNC OUT sends clock and transport to external gear or DAWs.
Audio Export
Open EXPORT and choose Bars, Seconds, or Live capture mode. Exported stereo WAV files are listed in-app for sharing or deletion.
Troubleshooting
No MIDI input: confirm MIDI IN is enabled and channel filter matches your source.
No BLE connection: re-open PAIR, disconnect/reconnect from host, and retry.
No sync response: verify SYNC IN/OUT toggles and DAW clock routing settings.
No sound: check voice activation, MIX levels, and stop/start transport state.
